Texas Caviar: It’s Not What You Think

This recipe can be found on our Pinterest board called “Food Ideas” and recipes are chosen by our very diverse staff. This item is a favorite of our marketing manager, Seth, a native Texan. It employs Texas favorites like beans, black-eyed peas, and Rotel Tomatoes to create a very authentic Texan dish!

  • 1  15 ounce can Black beans
  • 1  15 ounce can Black eyed peas
  • 2  Celery stalks
  • 1  cup Corn, kernels
  • 1  Green bell pepper
  • 1  Red bell pepper
  • 1  can Rotel tomatoes, mild or hot
  • 1/2  cup Sweet onion

Add Italian dressing for an added kick because just like all Texas foods, there’s about a million ways to make each one! Serve with Fritos or tortilla chips and watch this party dip disappear before your eyes!
